Prudential Hosts SportsAid Reception

On Wednesday 25 March 2009 Prudential hosted a reception with SportsAid to present grants of £1,000 to eleven aspiring young athletes, to help them further their careers.

Mark Tucker, Group Chief Executive, presented the cheques at the event and welcomed the guests saying:

“SportsAid’s professionalism, commitment and energy make it possible for young athletes across so many sports to achieve their best. It is a pleasure to be associated with such talented individuals and involved in a programme of such quality and importance. SportsAid does an amazing job and, as the focus on sport continues to build in the lead up to 2012, the urgency to nurture sporting talent could not be greater. We are delighted to be playing our part in securing the future of British sport for the Olympics and beyond.”

SportsAid is a national charity whose mission is to help emerging sporting talent.
